"A River Runs Through It" Wine Tasting
Most of the great wine regions in the world have rivers running through them. Beyond providing postcard-worthy backdrops, these curvaceous flows moderate severe climates across Europe and the New World, which is important because most wine regions exist in harsh, or marginalized areas. From Germany’s chilly Mosel Valley to the scorching Ribera del Duero in central Spain, vines thrive thanks to the influence of major rivers. Tonight we will talk, taste and toast the wonderful effects of these waters on many prestigious wines. Reservations to join our “class in the glass” are appreciated and can be made by calling (813) 879-2931. Click on the Title above to reveal which river-bound wines we will be pouring for you this evening.
Global Noble Grapes - Wine Tasting
Noble grapes are any grapes traditionally associated with the highest quality wines. They have a long established reputation for making premium quality wines across the globe. Historically speaking, the noble grapes comprised only six varieties. The white noble grapes are Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Chardonnay. The red noble grapes are Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Tonight we will suspend the current craze of blending grapes, and stick to tasting some wines that are pure and simple. Reservations for this 'back to basics' evening are appreciated and can be made by calling (813) 879-2931.
