Benanti Etna Bianco (2021)

The wine has a pale-yellow color, with bright greenish tints. The nose is intense and delicate with hints of apple. The palate is dry and mineral with pleasant acidity and salinity, persistent and harmonious.

This wine pairs well with fish and seafood. Very suitable for by-the-glass consumption.

Woodsmoke and burning leaves flicker on the nose before darker peach notes, pennies, soil and the perfume of bergamot emerge. The palate is alive with an almost Sichuan peppercorn-style buzz, then lemons and peaches and finally more smokiness. Mouth coating but still restrained and delicate.
