Cellier des Princes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Les Escondudes (2018)

Domaine Les Escondudes has a bright garnet red colour with ruby highlights. Due to its terroir, the grape varieties and its traditional vinification method, this wine has a beautiful structure and very silky tannins. On the nose, this very elegant wine reveals notes of red fruits, blackcurrant and cherry that can be found on the palate with a spicy finish.

It goes well with grilled meats, game birds, duck à la orange, rabbit stew or a rack of lamb à la provençale.

Made from 100% Grenache brought up all in stainless steel, the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Domaine Les Escondudes is slightly richer and more concentrated. Blue fruits, black cherries, earth, and peppery notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, nicely textured wine that has the balance and depth to keep for 7-8 years or more - 2019 - 2027.
