Château Citran Haut Médoc Grand Vin (2014)

Purple rim, limpid. On the nose, complex and highly appealing toasted notes, to black fruit. This entry is very elegant, fine and racy. The palate is long and powerful. It is very unctuous in the mouth and complex thanks to the cabernet sauvignon. Plenty of substance in the finish with good tannic and aromatic length.

Blend: 42 % Cabernet Sauvignon / 55 % Merlot / 3 % Cabernet Franc

This wine is dry and seems extracted with dark roasted notes of coffee. It is tough with a dense texture that favors tannins rather than fruit. The hint of fruit comes at the end with an acidic pop. Barrel Sample 89-91.
