All of the Giesen “The Fuder” wines are made in large, 1,000-liter German oak fuders and come from single vineyards. The 2013 The Fuder Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc has a gorgeous lemon marmalade, kumquat and quince nose with touches of struck match, crushed nuts and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, concentrated and intense, it has a great core of savory flavors with nice texture and a bit of grip, finishing long. It should develop beautifully over the next 4-6 years.
