Mairena Ocasión Malbec (2018)

This wine was crafted to take part in simple moments that are brimming with personality. It is the ultimate expression of the characteristics of its variety, highlighting the notes conferred by 6 months of aging in French oak barrels. Harvested early, this Malbec stands out for an elegant and fresh feel that comes to life amidst its natural acidity and long finish. Primary flavors are those typical of this variety,
with fresh plums and violets intertwining with hints of toast and spice from French oak aging.

A full wine with powerful, semi-hard tannins that, nonetheless, prove very gentle and pleasing on the palate. Very easy to drink, it will pair very well with a variety of options, from semi-hard cheeses to cold cuts or grilled red meats.
