The colour is an attractive garnet red. The bouquet is expressive with fresh fruit and blackcurrant scents accompanied by toasted and mocha hints. Fleshy and supple on the palate with lovely ripe red fruit flavours. The tannins are mellow. The impression is one of great elegance and nicely lingering smoky flavours.
