94 James Suckling This is complex and layered, with spiced cherries, aged tangerine peel, crushed spices and nutshells. Some licorice notes. Medium- to full-bodied, structured and polished with a firm backbone of very fine tannins and earthy undertones. Lingering finish.

94 Wine Enthusiast I’ve had several vintages of this wine and this is my favorite so far. Despite hitting 14.1% abv, it feels light on its feet, with a nice balance between gentle acidity and velvety tannins. Look for aromas and flavors of briary raspberries, graphite, earth and coffee with cream.

92 Decanter Aromatic and ripe, dark fruit combined with notes of dried herbs and a touch of spice. Embellished oak lends richness, but the palate is fresh, refined and savoury. Opulent and well-executed in style.
