San Giovanni comes from the vineyards of the ancient Castello della Sala, combining native Grechetto and Procanico grapes with Pinot Bianco and Viognier to tell the story of Orvieto Classico in a new style. The first vintage of Castello della Sala Orvieto Classico was 1990.

San Giovanni della Sala 2025 has a bright straw-yellow color, touched by delicate greenish reflections that hint at the wine's freshness and liveliness. On the nose, it offers a fine and elegant aromatic profile: notes of white flowers mingle with fruity hints of white peach, accompanied by citrus undertones of lime and yellow grapefruit that enhance its fragrance. On the palate, it is enveloping and well-balanced, with a structure that harmonizes freshness and softness. The lively acidity, combined with the citrus hints, makes the wine balanced and pleasantly lasting.
