Barone Ricasoli is one of Tuscany’s most historic and influential wine estates, widely recognized as the oldest winery in Italy and among the oldest in the world. The Ricasoli family has been rooted in Castello di Brolio in Chianti Classico for over 850 years, shaping the region’s identity and quality standards.
In the 19th century, Baron Bettino Ricasoli created the original formula for Chianti, laying the foundation for what would become Chianti Classico. Today, the estate continues to lead the region with meticulous vineyard research, a focus on Sangiovese purity, and wines that balance tradition, elegance, and modern precision.
This 2022 has Intense ruby red color. On the nose, sweet hints of dark fruit and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is sweet and full-bodied, with excellent balance between tannins and acidity, making this wine pleasant with good persistence.
