The goal with each of the Belle Glos single-vineyard Pinot Noirs is to express the uniqueness of each vineyard and craft a genuine style of California Pinot Noir that is layered, complex, fruit-forward and rich. The Las Alturas vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County is well suited to producing a wine in Belle Glos' signature style.

Deep ruby with violet highlights, this Pinot Noir opens with lifted aromas of black cherry, ripe blueberry, and crushed violet, accented by cocoa and cracked pepper. The palate is rich and focused, delivering layers of black raspberry, Bing cherry, and dark plum with notes of baking spice and subtle toasted oak. Full-bodied yet polished, the wine is beautifully balanced with soft, supple tannins and vibrant acidity that drive a Iong, energetic finish.
