Founded in 1570 and rebuilt in the 18th century, Château de Parenchère sits on the eastern edge of Bordeaux, where clay‑limestone soils give the wines their depth and smooth texture. Family‑run and HVE Level 3 certified, the estate focuses on classic Bordeaux varieties—Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc—crafted with low yields and careful vineyard work.
Parenchère is known for delivering exceptional value: ripe, generous fruit, polished tannins, and a freshness that keeps every bottle vibrant and food‑friendly. It’s a go‑to estate for customers who want authentic Bordeaux character without the luxury‑price markup.
Intense ruby colour. The palate is full, fleshy and round with an underlying structure. It displays intense red fruit aromas (cassis and black cherry) and elegant soft tannins. There is a great balance between this ripe fruit expression and the wine’s freshness. Ideal tasting dates are from September 2025 until the end of 2030. Can be kept until 2034.
Blend: 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
90 James Suckling Plums, cloves and tobacco on the nose, followed by a chewy, medium-bodied and firm palate. A little grainy, but should integrate. 75% merlot and 25% cabernet sauvignon. Try after 2027.
