The cooperative was created in 1963. Today nearly 90 winegrowers who represent 250 ha of vines are partners of the company. These vines are growing in all the villages and in the most beautiful terroir of the area: stony slopes of the hills which overlook the Loire River (longest river of France).
The wines are produced with the passion and know-how of the winemakers, showing the best and the variety of the Sancerre appellation: richness, aromatic intensity, finesse and balance. Leading producer of the AOC, nearly 2 million bottles leave the cellars every year for customers around the world.
Fruity nose with crunchy white fruit aromas. Its vivacity reflects the Sancerre typicity with a lot of freshness. Pairs well with seafood.
90 Wine Enthusiast This is a mineral-driven Sancerre. Aromas of white rose petal, peach skin, Golden Delicious apple and crushed stone open on the nose along with baby's breath and white blossom. The palate is steely in texture and wet-stone forward with an underlayer of freshly-baked pear-and-apple tart. Pair with oysters, crab cake and roasted chicken.
90 Decanter A cooperative producer founded in the early 1960s with over 90 different growers in the Sancerre AOC. Lots of saline and stone aromatics mark this Sauvignon Blanc with notes of lime pith. The palate offers fresh and zesty citrus fruits, hints of saline and a tingly acidity. Drink now to 2030.
