Doktor Heyden Riesling Spatlese 'Oppenheimer Sacktrager' (2018)

It displays an appealing bouquet of ripe apricots with lemon zest. On the palate, juicy with balanced acidity and a hint of salty minerality from the limestone soils. A perfect match for strong Indian and Asian spiced dishes. Also fantastic with a spiced duck leg, dishes with acidic sauces, roasted vegetables and soft cheeses.

Barely there whiffs of smoke and spice accent apricot on the nose of this medium-sweet Riesling. Cutting lemon and tangerine offset loads of mouthwatering white peach nectar on the palate. An elegant but easy-drinking Spätlese, it's an ideal summer quaffer or aperitif. Best enjoyed young.
