Founded in the 1960s by Antonin Guyon, who began acquiring prime vineyard parcels across Burgundy. Antonin built one of the region’s most diverse estates, spanning from Gevrey-Chambertin in the north to Meursault in the south. Today it covers over 50 hectares across more than 15 appellations, including prestigious Corton, Chambolle-Musigny, and Volnay. Known for meticulous vineyard work and traditional winemaking that highlights terroir purity, it is now run by Antonin’s son Dominique and his granddaughter Hombeline.
Aloxe-Corton is located in the Northern part of the Côte de Beaune. Its vineyard benefits from exposures ranging from East to South. The CORTON is the sole red Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune and CORTON CLOS DU ROY is one of the most famous Corton.
Very nice ruby robe with aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant. Very rich in the mouth, very concentrated and really harmonious. Elegant, pure and complex, with very fine tannins and a beautiful structure. This wine can be kept for 20 years.
