Domaine Oratoire Saint‑Martin is one of Cairanne’s historic estates, with the Alary family farming the village since 1692. What began as mixed agriculture evolved into a wine‑focused domaine in the mid‑20th century, when Frédéric Alary recognized the exceptional quality of the Saint‑Martin hillside and pioneered parcel‑by‑parcel winemaking. His grandsons later elevated the estate through organic and biodynamic farming, helping shape Cairanne’s rise to AOC status. In 2020, the family entrusted the domaine to the Abeille‑Fabre family of Château Mont‑Redon, ensuring the continued stewardship of its prized lieux‑dits—Saint‑Martin, Les Douyes, and Coustias—while preserving its deep-rooted commitment to terroir.
