Othello is a youthful, approachable wine crafted from the historic Napanook vineyard in Yountville, California, a site with roots dating back to 1838 when George Yount first planted vines there. Once the source of some of Napa Valley’s finest wines in the mid-20th century, the vineyard became home to Christian Moueix’s Dominus Estate in 1983 and now produces three wines: Dominus, Napanook, and Othello. Celebrated for its sustainable, dry-farming practices that encourage vines to draw deeply from the land’s unique geology, Napanook continues to embody the singular character of its terroir while honoring its rich legacy.
The 2023 Dominus Othello is vibrant and earthy with notes of purple plum and cacao.
