The winemaking heritage of Germany’s Mosel Valley stretches back over 2,000 years to the Romans, whose early plantings laid the foundation for the region’s enduring wine culture. Building on this legacy, Heinz Eifel founded the Römerhof winery in 1979 in Trittenheim, later joined by his daughter, Anne Eifel‑Spohr, a Geisenheim‑trained winemaker. Together they set out to craft wines that honor tradition while expressing the character of the Mosel’s vineyards, ultimately lending the family name to the HEINZ EIFEL label. Over the past two decades, Römerhof has partnered with select growers, implemented precise cellar practices, and maintained rigorous quality standards, producing Rieslings that reflect both technical mastery and the Eifel family’s deep commitment to “The Art of German Winemaking.”
Light yellow in color. Rich and full with aromas of stone aromas and minerality. An elegant Riesling that offers a palate of different stone and tree fruit notes such as peach and apricot. Luscious and full-bodied with a long and fresh finish.
