Made in sympathetic way to capture the best of this beautiful variety that is so well suited to the Barossa Valley. Part whole bunch and part crushed with a couple of weeks on skins in way that replicates the techniques of Beaujolais. It also then gets 15 months in season oak. Has a spicy raspberry and cherry character that lifts effortlessly from the glass. Hint of liqueur chocolate and a lick of vanilla bean add to the complexity.

From the Barossa Valley, Hewitson Baby Bush 2019 Mourvèdre is supple and seductive on the palate with ripe red berry, raspberry, sweet cherry, spice and mocha-vanilla flavours on the palate. So easy to love... and drink. A portion of the grapes were whole bunch pressed and left on their skins for a couple of weeks.
