In 1976, Pierre Plouzeau bought this family property, renovated the Château and replanted the disappeared vineyard.In 1989, a modern winery was born as well as a “Chinon Château de la Bonnelière” wine. His son, Marc, took over this vineyard in 1999, and continues to develop it, making it entirely organic and perfected the cellar. Today, it is a must-see vineyard in Chinon.
The 2024 is clear and bright - has a ruby hue with some purplish tints. It is very aromatic and pleasant. Aromas of red fruit (raspberries) and spices (fresh mint and liquorice). It has a long, harmonious finish, full with very soft tannins.
