Dark Mahogany colour with golden highlights. Great depth on the nose with notes of bitter Orange chocolates, nuts, raisins and smoky wood. Once on the mouth it’s an explosive wine, covering the mouth with a sweetness quickly followed by a pronounced acidity attack that gives a great freshness and lengths of dried fruits, exotics woods and spices.
Bottled in 2018.
93 Wine Spectator Offers tantalizing sweet hints of caramel and dried pear, but this stays racy and taut overall, with enticing green tea, bergamot, quince and green almond notes. The long lingers prettily. Drink now.
