The 2023 vintage was quite the adventure. September rains slowed down the harvest. The growing season started off slowly with a late budbreak but progressed steadily through a classic Oregon summer - warm days and cool nights, with one significant heat spike in August. Those September rains were a welcome sight, providing the vineyard sites with the extra time they needed for slower ripening and developing intense flavors.
The 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir has a beautiful bouquet and palate of sweet strawberries, tropical guava, and pomegranate with great texture and a clean mineral finish with bright acidity.
