Rosé Sauvage, meaning Wild Rose in French, is not your typical Champagne Rosé. A high proportion of Pinot Noir results in a bold, deep-hued rosé and a palate that is structured, full-bodied, and yet distinctly elegant. This unique, fruity Champagne, carefully crafted from over 100 crus, is guaranteed to delight all the senses.
On the palate, a brisk, original and juicy wine which simultaneously offers black cherry, blackberry, pink grapefruit and blood orange notes. This structure and fruitiness are enriched with warm, spicy notes of Espelette pepper, tea, and liquorice.
92 Wine Spectator Sleek and finely-knit, with firm acidity and a chalky underpinning married to a lovely range of steeped raspberry, wild strawberry and dried fig fruit flavors. Hints of salted almond, blood orange zest and smoke play on the finish. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
92 Jeb Dunnuck With the 2018 vintage as its base, the NV Champagne Sauvage Rosé is salmon-colored with a copper tinge. Historically, this cuvée poured a very deep color, but they have dialed back on the color and the power, working toward a more refined and elegant style. This edition is a silky expression with attractive ripe, fresh red berries, roses, and croissants. Rounded, with a refined mousse that enhances the creamy texture, it offers notes of fresh apricot and juicy tangerine fruit on the finish.

TASTING NOTES: This wine shines with aromas and flavors of ripe strawberries, earthy notes, candied apples, and dried berries. Try it with fresh salmon sashimi topped with slices of Meyer lemon.
