Grainha Reserva is inspired by the grape seed, which delivers the fundamental compounds of a wine, including proteins, condensed tannins and aromatic extracts. Year after year, it maintains the profile of a deeper and gastronomically rich Douro, aged in wooden barrels, with a complex nose, well structured in the mouth and a very special precise finish.
A curious fact: the back label repeats the name in several languages, demonstrating its universality and the essence of life.
In its own steady and unique style, using grapes grown in the serenity of high-altitude vineyards, the white Grainha is born in the highlands of the Douro. The textures, freshness and the round body of slowly ripened grapes is combined with the expression of fresh fruit, spices and vanilla notes, in a magnificent balance between seriousness, tension and delicacy. It has a beautiful density. A long and very precise finish.

90 Wine Enthusiast This ripe, wood-aged wine is a blend of Viosinho, Rabigato and Gouveio, all typical Douro white varieties. It is a fruity wine with a layer of toastiness that has been tempered by acidity. The wine is young and will be better from later this year.
