Seated Wine Tasting
Friday, May 22
Tasting 7 to 8:30 PM
Followed by Wines by the Glass/Bottle
Seek the Unique brings together six wines that challenge expectations—through uncommon grapes, overlooked regions, and fresh takes on classic styles. Some come from places you don’t typically associate with the varietal, others reinterpret well-known grapes in ways that feel entirely new. Each bottle offers a different perspective on what makes a wine stand out—not just rarity, but character, origin, and intent.
We’ll be tasting:
- Tannat Single Vineyard ‘Garzón’ — Uruguay
Uruguay’s signature grape, showing a softer, more polished side shaped by coastal vineyards.
- Chenin Blanc 2024 — Santa Ynez Valley
A Loire-inspired white from California, where Chenin Blanc remains an uncommon but compelling choice.
- Lytton Estate Rosé 2025 — Dry Creek Valley
A rosé built from historic vineyards, offering a different expression of a region better known for bold reds.
- Rioja Oriental 2021 — Spain
A Garnacha-driven Rioja from the warmer eastern zone, highlighting the evolving style of the region.
- Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 — Piedmont
A more approachable take on Nebbiolo, offering insight into the grape outside its most structured expressions.
- Corton ‘Bressandes’ Grand Cru 2017 — Burgundy
A classic terroir-driven Pinot Noir, where subtle differences in site create a distinctly individual wine.
Join us for an evening that explores what “unique” really means in wine—not just what’s rare, but what’s worth seeking out.
