Expressions of Argentina – A Winemaker Spotlight Tasting
Join us for a special evening celebrating the diverse voices and landscapes of Argentine wine with Expressions of Argentina, a guided tasting featuring two acclaimed winemakers whose portfolios span some of the country’s most exciting labels and regions.
We are honored to welcome Alejandro Kuschnaroff of Ernesto Catena Vineyards and Gaspar Mausbach of Buscado Vivo o Muerto and TintoNero. Together, they represent a new generation of Argentine winemaking—one that blends deep respect for tradition with a relentless curiosity about terroir, elevation, and vineyard expression. Throughout the evening, they will share personal stories from the cellar, insights into their winemaking philosophies, and the unique characteristics of Argentina’s diverse growing regions, from the classic vineyards of Mendoza to the high-altitude precision of the Valle de Uco and Paraje Altamira.
This tasting is designed to highlight how a single country can produce a remarkable range of styles—from vibrant sparkling rosé to structured mountain reds—each shaped by soil, altitude, climate, and the vision of the winemaker. Guests will have the opportunity to explore multiple “expressions” of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and more, while learning how site selection and vineyard management influence the final glass.
