Since 1982, Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery has built its reputation on expressive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from some of Sonoma County’s most respected vineyard sites. The winery’s approach is deeply rooted in place, with a focus on cool-climate fruit, careful cellar work, and allowing each vineyard’s character to come through in the glass.
Tonight, we’re pleased to welcome head winemaker Brent McKoy for a special spotlight tasting. Brent joined Gary Farrell in 2005 as a cellar foreman, working directly with founder Gary Farrell, and has spent two decades developing a hands-on, vineyard-focused approach to winemaking.
This tasting offers a chance to compare broad appellation wines with distinctive single-vineyard expressions. We’ll explore the cool, fog-influenced character of the Russian River Valley, the maritime influence of the Sonoma Coast, and the individual personalities of celebrated sites including Olivet Lane, Hallberg, and Rochioli.
