While our Bastille Day celebration will be a little early (our tasting is July 11), each year on July 14th, France celebrates their National Celebration, commonly known as Bastille Day. The French National Day is the anniversary of Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a turning point of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération which celebrated the unity of the French people on 14 July 1790. Similar to our Independance Day, celebrations are held throughout France.

At Vintage Wine Cellars, we have also always celebrated Bastille Day by featuring some great French wines, and this year is no exception.
