Tiefenbrunner Winery—officially Schlosskellerei Turmhof—traces its roots back to 1225, when the Linticlar estate was first documented, and has remained in the Tiefenbrunner family since 1675, making it one of South Tyrol’s oldest continuously run wine estates. Official commercial winemaking began in 1848, and over five generations the family has expanded and refined the estate, now led by Sabine and Christof Tiefenbrunner with their children joining the legacy. Set in the hamlet of Entiklar between Kurtatsch and Margreid, the winery’s historic Turmhof Castle anchors vineyards stretching from 200 to 1,000 meters along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, where the family blends tradition, alpine terroir, and meticulous craftsmanship to produce acclaimed wines—including their flagship Müller‑Thurgau “Feldmarschall”.
Straw yellow in color with lemon reflexes, this Pinot Grigio is youthful and lively. In the nose this wine has aromas of citrus, white blossoms, pears, apples and meadow grass. There is a fresh, crisp minerality and a clear finish. Wonderful as an aperitivo as well as a wine that pairs well with butter-poached fish, scampi's, and pasta dishes such as pasta primavera
