Situated in the heart of the Plaine des Maures around the town of La Garde Freinet at the northern foot of Notre Dame des Anges chapel, Ultimate Provence’s vineyard cover 46 ha in wild countryside, bordered by a vast evergreen pine forest and sheltered by the surrounding mountains. Formerly Château des Launes, vines were first planted in the mid 20th century by the Perrono family and is now owned by Chateau de Berne. The vineyards are certified as organic. Resident winemaker, Alexis Cornu, is an innovator who shares Ultimate Provence’s mission to produce wines for pleasure – to celebrate taste, life and this unique corner of Provence. A vibrant pale pink with a delicate coppery tone, evoking aromas of fresh lemon, exotic fruit and delicate floral nuances. On the palate, this rosé is bursting with ripe red fruit and a refreshing citrus flavour with a subtle note of white pepper spice on the finish.

93 Tasting Panel There is a lovely concentration to this wine that lends depth and presence that makes it stand out among the rosé pack. It vibrates with raspberry and blood orange, both lifted with springtime blossoms, while savory with peppercorn and a suggestion of thyme.
90 Wine Enthusiast If someone asked what Provence Rosé should taste and smell like this is fantastic example. The nose has all the classic aromas of peach and bubblegum with hints of citrus and minerality. The wine completely coats the mouth with nice bitterness in a grapefruit red apple combo. This well-balanced wine has a long peppery finish.
