Willamette Valley Vineyards was established in 1983 by a dedicated group of wine enthusiasts committed to producing among the highest quality Pinot Noirs while being good stewards of the land. As a tribute to these individuals, we created this special blend of Pinot Noir.
Aroma: The wine opens with aromas of rose, black cherry tart, baking spices and toasted oak.
Taste: A fruit-forward palate of cranberry and raspberry is accented by dried herbs, ginger, black tea and white pepper.
Finish: Integrated tannins and balanced acidity frame this medium-bodied wine.

92 Wine Enthusiast A tangy boysenberry aroma sets the tone for the Founders' Reserve. It is joined by notes of crushed brick dust, dried rose petals and balsa. The wine's flavors are rich and full, with a tart red raspberry flavor that is spiced up by flecks of candied ginger, oregano, walnut, saline and thyme. You can expect brisk acidity to match with integrated tannins.
