Walk-Around Tasting

Wines by the Glass/Bottle until close
Aye — gather ‘round, ye lovers o’ the vine — for Pirate’s Picks, a roamin’, ramblin’, walk-around tasting fit for only the boldest o’ palates and the saltiest o’ souls.
Our mate Jimmy has sailed the seven seas (and a fair few back roads of wine country), plunderin’ cellars, raidin’ importer holds, and sniffin’ out bottles that’d make even the sternest captain grin like a cabin boy with shore leave. These be no ordinary wines — these be treasures worthy o’ any pirate’s table.
You’ll sample the spoils like a proper rogue:
• Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs (Sparkling, 2022 – Calistoga)
Bright, cracklin’, and fresh — sharper than a cutlass at dawn.
• Alta Mora “Cusumano” Etna Rosso (2022 – Sicily)
Born on the slopes of a fiery volcano — smoky, savory, and wild as the sea in a storm.
• Domaine de la Bêche Morgon “Vieilles Vignes” (Gamay, 2023 – Beaujolais)
Juicy and lively — as cheerful as a drunken fiddler and twice as charming.
• Faust Cabernet Sauvignon (2022 – Napa Valley)
Dark, rich, and brooding — deeper than a moonless night over open waters.
• Mollydooker “The Boxer” Shiraz (2018 – South Australia)
Bold, spicy, and full o’ swagger — packs a punch fit to drop a first mate.
• Produttori del Barbaresco (Barbaresco, 2021 – Piedmont)
Noble, elegant, and long as the horizon — a king’s ransom in every glass.
No stuffy chairs, no long speeches — just wander, taste, laugh, and trade stories like pirates divvyin’ loot.
So polish yer peg leg, grab yer favorite tankard, and join us for an evenin’ of fine plunder, good company, and wines worthy of legend.
We’ll be waitin’, matey — and remember:
Those who hesitate
walk the plank o’ empty glasses.
