Bodega del Fin del Mundo, translating to "End of the World" winery, reflects the winery's location at the southern tip of South America. Established in 1999, the winery has become a pioneer in Patagonian winemaking. The estate is found in Argentina's southern Patagonia region. It was one of the first estates in the Neuquén, and has expanded to produce wines and grow grapes from around 870 hectares (2150 acres) of vinevards in the region. The first vineyards were planted in 1999 and today the estate grows a wide selection of red and white grape varieties, The winery is run by uncle and niece, Eduardo Eurnekian and Juliana Del Aguila Eurnekian. Renowned winemaking consultant Michel Rolland helped get the project off the ground, and today the wines crafted by Ricardo Galante of Mendoza fame.
Deep purple-red color. Aromas of intense red fruits, with notes of blackberries, chocolate, and spices. Fruit-driven on the palate, with soft, ripe and silky tannins, balanced, and a lingering finish on the palate.
