Domaine Jomain is a family‑run, Chardonnay‑focused estate in Puligny‑Montrachet, founded in 1992 by siblings Philippe, Christophe, and Catherine Jomain, who inherited their vineyards from their father, Marc. They farm about 22 acres across some of the most prized terroirs in the Côte de Beaune, including Bâtard‑Montrachet Grand Cru and several top Puligny‑Montrachet Premier Crus such as Les Pucelles, Les Combettes, and Les Perrières. Their approach is defined by sustainable viticulture (lutte raisonnée), meticulous hand‑work in the vines, and a cellar philosophy that emphasizes gentle handling, minimal intervention, and restrained oak. They also produce small amounts of red Burgundy and Bourgogne‑level wines.
Complex aromas of violet, acacia, and honey that develop with age. The palate is full, harmonious, and balanced. The wine delivers a long finish.
