The Four Graces was founded in 2003 by the Black family and named for their four daughters, beginning with the transformation of their Dundee Hills retreat into a meticulously tended, sustainably farmed vineyard. The family expanded in 2005 with the Doe Ridge property in Yamhill‑Carlton, creating one of the region’s largest L.I.V.E.–certified sustainability experiments across forty acres. Now owned by Bill Foley, The Four Graces produces nationally and internationally acclaimed Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc, crafted under winemaker Marc Myers, who draws on the distinct character of both estate vineyards to create wines celebrated for their balance, elegance, and complexity.
Four Graces 2024 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir opens with a beautiful bouquetof huckleberry, dried cherry, orange peel, clove, cedar, and mocha. On the palate, fine tannin provides support to flavors of pomegranate and tart strawberry. Persistent balanced acidity carries the wine through the finish. Serve with pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, or roasted chicken.
93 James Suckling Roses, huckleberries, flint, cedar and chalk on the nose. Blue and black fruit, orange peel, Earl Grey tea and cedar on the palate. It’s juicy and dry, with a pleasing balance of energetic fruit and earthiness. Medium-bodied.
