Dr. Jan Krupp was a San Francisco-area physician with a love of farming and wine. In 1991, he moved to Napa Valley, where he and his brother Bart began to develop vineyards, including the iconic Stagecoach Vineyard. Krupp Brothers selects only the finest grapes from premier Napa Valley vineyards, including: Stagecoach, Krupp Brothers Estate, and J2 — Dr. Krupp’s personal vines. Today, each wine in the collection — from the mountain Chardonnay to the Rhone-style Syrah and Tempranillo-based red—continues to embody the passion, vision and perseverance that has guided Krupp Brothers since the first vines were planted.
The aroma is an inviting burst of ripe pineapple and zesty lemon curd, with delicate whispers of gardenia and tarragon. On the palate, lively Meyer lemon notes dance with a vibrant acidity, complemented by the smooth indulgence of sweet cream and graham cracker. The wine’s luxurious body maintains its richness to the end, leaving a lingering finish with tangy pomelo notes. Pair with roasted garlic-butter halibut with a cherry tomato relish, wild mushroom risotto, or Comté cheese. Drink now through 2030.
