Krupp Brothers, Jan and Bart, began with the bold creation of Stagecoach Vineyard. The Stagecoach Vineyard put the Krupp Brothers on the map, supplying fruit to dozens of Napa wineries and building their reputation for bold, mountain-grown Cabernet. After selling Stagecoach, they shifted focus to their estate vineyard and boutique winery, emphasizing small-lot, handcrafted wines. Their portfolio includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah, Tempranillo, and blends, reflecting both Bordeaux and Rhône influences. The winery estate today sits off the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley, with a Tuscan-style property at the foot of the Vaca Mountains.
This Cabernet Sauvignon opens with captivating aromas of violet, rose petal, and a warm hint of cinnamon. The palate is bright and full-bodied, beginning with rich flavors of plum and cocoa, followed by vibrant dark pomegranate. A long, satisfying finish of juicy black cherry completes this elegant and well-balanced wine. Pair with bone-in ribeye with cremini mushrooms, eggplant Parmesan, or linguini with meatballs and tomato-basil sauce. Drink now through 2040.
