Notes of toasted marcona almonds, lemon sorbet, and river rocks leap out of the glass followed by subtle hints of burnt marshmallow, brioche, and vanilla. Liquid Farm has endearingly nicknamed this wine "Goldilox" because of her impeccable balance of richness and fresh acidity. She is "just right"!!

From the Sta. Rita Hills and brought up in 15% new French oak, the 2017 Chardonnay Golden Slope boasts a medium gold color as well as a beautiful bouquet of orchard fruits, salted caramel, white flowers, and plenty of marine and seaside, iodine-like notions. Beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied, with integrated acidity, it's a classic effort from this team that will be better this time next year and keep for a decade.

The 2017 Chardonnay Golden Slope gives bright aromas of lime peel, hazelnut and petrichor with deeper layers of honey toast, Greek yogurt, apricot and white flowers. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy, it has good intensity in the mouth with tangy acidity and a long, layered finish.
