Regnard stands as one of Chablis’ oldest and most revered houses, founded in 1860 by the visionary Zephir Regnard. More than a century later, the estate entered a new chapter when Baron Patrick de Ladoucette acquired it in 1984, bringing fresh energy while honoring its classic Burgundian style.
Drawing on his experience modernizing the de Ladoucette cellars in Pouilly‑sur‑Loire, the Baron introduced thoughtful innovations at Regnard—thermo‑controlled stainless‑steel fermenters for precision and purity, and sodium lighting in the aging sheds to shield the wines from light damage. The result is a seamless blend of heritage and modern craftsmanship that continues to define Regnard today.
Draped in a ruby-red color, this cuvée unveils a delicately open nose, revealing subtle aromas of black and red fruits such as black cherry and redcurrant. On the palate, it offers remarkable elegance, marked by exquisite freshness and lightness, harmoniously complemented by herbaceous notes.
