Domaine Skouras was founded in 1986 by George Skouras, a Greek winemaker who studied oenology in Dijon, France. Initially, the winery operated in Pyrgela, near Argos, before expanding to Nemea, a region known for its exceptional vineyards. The winery later moved to Malandreni in 2004, where it established a modern facility designed to blend tradition with cutting-edge winemaking techniquesThe color is a vibrant, deep morello cherry-red.
The nose on the 2022 reveals aromas of blackberries, raspberries and ripe strawberries with just a touch of tobacco and spices such as clove and cinnamon. It is a medium bodied wine with elegant structure, balanced acidity and very ripe, elegant tannins. The finish is moderately-long, dominated by red fruits and followed by sweet vanilla and black pepper.
