Following the success of our Sensory Training tasting, we’re inviting you to put your palate to the test with Sensory Calibration—a guided blind tasting designed for tasters who want to sharpen their skills and refine their ability to identify grape varieties, structure, and origin.
We’ll pour six distinctive wines, each from a classic region and grape, but the labels will remain hidden. As we taste, you’ll be challenged to rely on sight, smell, and taste alone—calibrating your senses and comparing your impressions with others around the room.
We’ll guide the conversation and offer clues along the way, but this is your opportunity to see just how much you’ve absorbed—and how much you still might learn—about wine styles, varietal markers, and regional character.
“When was the last time you mistook a Bordeaux for a Burgundy?”
Legendary wine merchant Harry Waugh famously answered, “Not since lunch.”
Let’s find out how sharp your palate is tonight.
This tasting is perfect for advanced enthusiasts, WSET students, or anyone who wants to move from “I like this wine” to “I know this wine.”
Limited seating | Reserve early to join the challenge.
