A deep ruby red with notes of licorice, kirsch liqueur and dark currants. On the palate, licorice, kirsch liqueur and dark currants. In the mouth it is very sweet and fruity. A medium-bodied finish, refreshing, exuberant and fruity with a complex and long aftertaste.
The blend is 85% Garnacha, 10% Syrah, 5% Tempranillo. While Garnacha is the star, Syrah definitely plays a supporting role, adding a bit of darker fruit, spice, and structure to the wine. Tempranillo rounds it out with a touch of earthiness.
Reviews
91 James Suckling Fruit-forward and slightly jammy red with full body and a velvety texture. It offers notes of ripe purple fruit, dried strawberries and spices. Rich, but structured and balanced.
