Marqués de Cáceres is a family‑run Rioja estate founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner, who brought home the Bordeaux techniques he refined at Château Camensac and Château Larose‑Trintaudon. Rooted in Cenicero in Rioja Alta, the winery became a modernizing force in the region—reducing traditional oak aging, prioritizing fruit purity, and pioneering the use of high‑quality French oak. Today, under Cristina Forner’s leadership, the fifth generation, Marqués de Cáceres continues to craft elegant, terroir‑driven wines sourced from vineyards across Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, standing as one of Spain’s most recognized ambassadors for contemporary Rioja.
