Founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1994, Paraduxx is the only Napa Valley winery devoted exclusively to making Napa Valley blends. Our blends embrace the best of their component varietals, allowing them to mix naturally with great food and dynamic company.
The 2021 vintage produced a beautifully polished and potent expression of Paraduxx’s flagship red blend, with aromas of spiced blueberry, blackberry, as well as hints of flint and sandalwood. The dark berry layers are echoed on the palate, framed by robust tannins, with notions of black cherry, cocoa, lilac and anise emerging throughout a long, mouth-filling finish.
Blend: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Zinfandel, 13% Malbec, 10% Merlot, 6% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah

90 James Suckling Aromas of blackberries, dark plums and sweet spices. Medium- to full-bodied with creamy tannins and texture. Dense and generous, with chocolate and berries toward the finish.
90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate A blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Zinfandel, 13% Malbec, 10% Merlot, 6% Syrah and 5% Petite Sirah, Paraduxx's 2021 Proprietary Red Wine is the winery's main offering. Marked by scents of cherries and berries, with a hint of vanilla, it's medium to full-bodied and reasonably supple. It's framed by silky tannins—but there are plenty of them, making a burger or steak something of a necessity with this wine, which finishes a bit drying.
