Wednesday Beef Bourguignon

Ina Garten one of our favorites for great flavors without a lot of fuss. Her Beef Bourguignon recipe has great flavors but comes together in one Dutch Oven. You can do everything including serve from the table out of one pan. Stop by Jamison B’s DoughJoe

for a loaf of their Country Sourdough and you will have a great meal (and better leftovers). Vegetarians can swap large, quartered mushrooms and Be’f Tips for the chuck and toss in a little liquid smoke and get similar flavors. Pick up a bottle of red wine from the $99 case rack to make sure you are cooking with something tasty.


The wines cover some of the best areas of France for a reasonable price. Start with this Valentine’s pink rose from Olema in Côtes de Provence. Of course, you have to have Bourguignon with your Beef Bourguignon, and this Cuvee from Laborde is tasty and economical. Of course, these rich flavors are great for Bordeaux, so how about a 2016 Cru Bourgeois from Chateau Barreyres to wrap up with?
